#5 Zwolle

Zwolle, has his own charm and beauty and I'm still discovering more about it. So when a good friend of mine came with an idea about me trying her camera for a day I was in joy. Because soon I was going to buy the same sweet camera, Canon. That's why we made a trip around Zwolle / Netherlands.

I love nature, but hate bugs... I know I have to get used to it if I wanna enjoy more outdoors. Nature can be very surprising, not knowing what you going to end up finding just around the corner, like dogs...>_< I don't hate them but we can't understand each other. 

So here are the pictures that I took with Canon 600D, thanks to my friend...THANK YOU.

oh btw I bought mine already, I can't wait to test it out.

#4 Royal Blood @ Paradiso Amsterdam / March 16th 2015

The last time I saw Royal Blood live on stage was last year May in Finsbury Park, London. And that was for Arctic Monkeys and Miles Kane. Hey if you can get a chance to see Alex and Miles together….do it. So for us (me and friends) there was no other option than getting the tickets J

Anyway, the first time I heard any songs of Royal Blood….I was in love with their Music. It’s heavy, it’s not bullshit. Just guitar and drums….really. These guys were absolutely amazing at Paradiso Amsterdam last Monday. Their support act was Mini Mansions….we secretly hoped that they would do the song ‘Vertigo’ with Alex. Who knows maybe he would be there and join them on stage.... we thought...sadly no Alex Turner.

I always get this dilemma at gigs... to take pictures or not take pictures...but I ended up always taking them...cause I love it. Every second I see another shot in my head.... “oh that one is good, one more...stop the bloody smoke already”. But in the end I love the end result.

So here you have the best I got.

#3 London in August.... Analog

I love analog shooting, cause you never know how your pictures going to look in the end. Sure there are some down sides too; like when the half of your film is ruined, but that shouldn’t stop you. It should give you motivation to get the perfect picture you have in your mind at that moment.

Right now I’m very happy how my 3 film are turned out. These pictures (below) were captured by me about 6 months ago during my short weekend stay in London. Now I see there are few which didn’t (maybe a lot) came out really nicely, but there are also few that blew my mind. That’s why I love this whole process. Getting your picture, handing them over for the development process and then finally having back in your hands. That’s makes the whole thing exciting. I love it, it’s just puts a smile on mine face.

Sometimes I don’t want my pictures to look perfect. I want them to look at some certain moment, I want them to give me the current feeling, the feeling what I’m into. I want them to express the moment I felt. I guess that’s why people have favourite photographer, cause you like the way they capture the moment and how they give you certain feeling. Example, the picture below is not sharp but still I didn’t/couldn’t delete it. Cause when I look at this picture I get to see the moment passing by me. My ultimate goal is to capture the moments that says a lot and not focusing on the colours or layers.

So whatever happens with your films, don’t stop. Just learn from your mistakes and give more attention the next time.  I’m not an expert on this, but I can say that it makes you happy when you finally see the one picture you will adore it.

I don’t have a favourite photographer, I actually didn’t do any research about it or anything caught mine attention, however I found Ville Akseli Juurikkala‘s style really appealing, I love the way his photographs looks, sharp and how the deep colours and contrast makes the image stands out. I also like some black and white images, more to which has retro / vintage vibe.

p.s. I used black and white ISO 100 film and Redscale 50-200 ISO

I bought my own scanner :) so those black lines are some error, actually after trying a few times out I know how to scan my negatives properly :)))
